GCG is thrilled to announce that our office space, located in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City, MO has just achieved the WELL Health-Safety Rating (HSR) through the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). HSR offers a fully customizable checklist of features focused on implementation of facilities management and maintenance protocols designed to reduce the risk of infectious disease transmission and other health emergencies.
GCG shares office space with Odimo and together we worked to target achievement of HSR features that prioritize the health and safety of our staff and visitors. For example, features such as Improved Cleaning Practices and Select Cleaning Products were achieved to ensure healthy air quality in our office space. Features to support proper handwashing were pursued and the office conducted an assessment of emergency resource provisions and overall emergency preparedness in an effort to create a safer indoor environment.
GCG specializes in consulting with businesses that pursue the WELL Building Standard and the associated Ratings. Our team brings over 18 years of experience managing building certifications and we have WELL Accredited Professionals and WELL Faculty on staff. “Prioritizing the health and wellness of people is critically important and something that we are aware of now more than ever,” said Sara Greenwood. “GCG helps other organizations in this pursuit and it’s nice to demonstrate this achievement in our own office space!”
HSR was launched in 2020 in the wake of a global pandemic and to date more than 20,000 projects have achieved the Health-Safety Rating.
