The Greenwood Consulting Group (GCG), is a sustainability consulting firm that provides services to building owners, developers, design teams and contractors to achieve their performance goals. Our team is trusted in the green building industry as a leader who provides technical expertise to enable project teams to realize long-term sustainable building benefits. With over 16-years of experience managing projects that pursue green building certification, of different building types, located across the country, GCG has a deep understanding of the approach needed to manage the certification needs for our clients.

Job Description: 
Green Building Consultant

Join our team! GCG is excited at the prospect to hire a new team member with at least 5-years of experience managing projects that pursue green building certification such as LEED, WELL, ENERGY STAR and/or other similar rating systems.

 

Valued skillsets include:

  • Experience managing projects from early in design through construction.

  • Well versed in the LEED Rating System and has a GA or AP credential. Experience in other rating systems such as WELL is also valuable.

  • Well versed in Microsoft, Adobe and some experience with Revit.

  • Effective communication, organization, strategic planning, problem solving, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to review architectural plans and contractor submittals.

  • Attributes that would be nice to have but not required are energy and carbon emission analysis, corporate sustainability reporting, engineering or other credentials.

 

Position starts remotely with the potential move into an office. GCG is hiring part or full-time employees.

Job Description: 
Sustainability Associate

Join our team! GCG is a sustainability consulting firm that focuses on managing green and health building certification. We are hiring a new team member who understands sustainable building design and can read architectural drawings. This is an entry-level position with room for growth.

 

The minimum requirements of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Effective communication, organization, strategic planning, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to review architectural plans and contractor submittals.

  • Experience developing PowerPoint presentations.

  • Bachelors degree in a related environmental field.

  • Experience with time management.

  • Ideal candidate has experience with the Green Globes rating system and LEED Material Tracking credits.
     

This position is part or full-time depending on the level of experience.
