At the Greenwood Consulting Group (GCG), we specialize in environmental and sustainability consulting services provided to clients across the United States. Our clientele includes building owners, architects, developers, design teams and general contractors. Our services encompass strategic planning, green building certification, and sustainable program development. We also provide consulting services to achieve sustainable business initiatives.

GCG has demonstrated over 16 years of experience with green building rating systems such as the US Green Building Council’s LEED rating system, WELL Building Standard, Arc, SITES, the Green Building Initiative’s Green Globes certification program, EPA’s ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, and the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS). We are looking for an addition to our team who has valuable experience with these rating systems and project management.

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience managing and facilitating LEED projects from early in design through construction.

  • Knowledge of sustainability, building science, integrated design, and LEED guidelines.

  • Ability to lead a project team from early in design through construction to achieve performance goals.

  • Provide technical guidance to inform sustainable design decisions and rating system credit interpretations.

  • Ability to perform technical review of architectural plans and submittal reviews to support certification goals for the project.

  • Maintain effective communication, organization, strategic planning, problem solving, and attention to detail.



Bachelor’s degree in related environmental field (or experience equivalent)

5+ years in sustainable design experience

LEED Accredited Professional with specialty designation


Preferred, but not required: Experience with energy and carbon emission analysis, corporate sustainability reporting, engineering, or other credentials.


Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam / Revit, and Adobe
